Where's the washer fluid reservoir
Hey guys.
i was just nosing around in my truck, replaced the wipers, and noticed the two tubes running to the washer nozzles, and followed them to the wiper motor. is there supposed to be a washer fluid reservoir under the dash? thanks dudes |

Re: Where's the washer fluid reservoir
haha. My rad overflow is a old prestone jug. i think it came with the LX package in '66.
alright. so in the case i had a washer fluid bottle, where would the hose run? to the same zone as the two tubes going to the nozzles? |
Re: Where's the washer fluid reservoir
it's on the inside of the radiator support, drivers side next to the rad

Could also be mounted drivers side of the master cylinder.

Re: Where's the washer fluid reservoir
I'd just go up to the gallery area and look around at the engine pics. You'll find both locations for the resevoir. I've only had two '66 trucks and they were both on the radiator mount right over the horn relay. Several mfgs. have the bracket and jug that fits it. Although some of the brackets aren't made to fit over the relay. I got that info from Lilred66. He sold me the correct one.
Happy hunting. |

I might have an extra bracket and reservoir if you need it.
