rear wiper help '01 tahoe
So 2 months ago the rear wiper in my 2001 Tahoe started wiping slow, and now it just clicks and doesn't move. I went to a used parts house and picked one up that looked well used, and it didn't work either, so i took it apart and found rust on the motor. I just exchanged it for a nice clean used wiper motor and it still doesn't work. I took the switch apart and its all nice and clean too. I just can't imagine that I had three bad motors. Looking for some relay location input so i don't have to go to chevy and pay 100 bucks an hour for them to trouble shoot this thing.
Thanks Ben |

far as i can tell there is no relay for the rear have you looked at the wiper motor control module

Re: rear wiper help '01 tahoe
That is mounted to the motor. So every motor had its own module. Thanks for the diagram

Re: rear wiper help '01 tahoe
these were notorious for getting road dust and corrosion in the motors and doing exactly what you describe. If it is the motor that needs to be replaced do so with a new one. you are just crap shooting with a used as it may have the same issue as yours
