can gm 3 spoke wheels be dyed?

im wanting one of the the 3 spoke buick. chevy wheels from early 70s.

is it possible to have the wheel painted or dyed medium blue to match my interior, or at least black?

can upholstry/interior shops do this?

Paint shops would be better.

I think alot of em' are black, cos I looked at some last year. Black would go with any color. I like the woodgrain ones too.

I dyed mine over a year ago and it has no signs of coming off,I used black plasti-kote brand,I put four coats on,it was a very hot day when I did it,if it was going to come off I figure it would have already,I have had real good luck with the plasti-kote brand dye,I've dyed door panals, visors, and consoles all have turned out great, and have not peeled or come off.
