I'm not much of an engine guy, but, may I use that GIF for my avatiar? But, if you were to replace the heads, I would look into a set of Vortecs.

For intake, do you need EGR? If not, then go with a performer RPM. For carbs, get a rebuilt Qjet. It will make more power then a edelbrock/carter or even a holley thats under 750cfm.
For distributor use the good ol HEI, with MSD coil and module. Jegs has an entire MSD hei tune up kit [cap, rotor, coil, module] for like $150.
For heads you have a huge selection. Vortecs came stock, which lots of people like. They also have some of the best flow numbers out there, peiod. They would be my #1 choice for your mild application. They fit your cam perfectly. Headers need to be 1 5/8" pirmary tubes with 2.5" collectors. 2.25" would be ok, but not the best. You'll give up some top end. 3" would also be ok, but you'll give up some low end. Exaust should match your collector size [which should be 2.5"]

Tom thanks for the Recipe, I sure need help in that area. Speaking of area Mesa is 4hrs from me, I was looking at some engine shop in Mesa a few months back and cant remember the name but had great 330hp 350 prices.

If you decide to go with a mesa shop for a motor, Ill go check out the place and see if it looks good or not :)
The only machine shop I use is wilkies, but I dont think they have motors for sale.

yeah apparently picture trails free gallaries are a scam. athey might be free but they delete them after they are about 4 months old, which they don't tell you when you sign up. i need to find a new pic hosting place. but i will make a new picture trail gallery in the meantime.
