New Member just wants to say hello
Hello
I just wanted to let you know that I'm a new member. I've spent a few days (had difficulty on the registration) following the different posted messages and replies and I find your group very informative and helpful.
I'm very impressed with the inguinuity, quality and the craftsmanship of some of the trucks I've seen so far . There are a few of the members that I have been in touch with before because I own a 77 Blazer Chalet Camper.
I just recently bought a tired but fairly solid 82 Chevy Silverado 4x4 1/2 ton pickup for a daily winter driver. It has 130,000 miles and the original 305 had already been replaced by an even weaker 307. With that transplant the previous owner had done away with all the original ESC, AIR and computer controls. Over the past few months I freshened and then installed a low mileage 73 350 4BBL that came out of a freinds 73 Malibu. This motor change has made driving the truck a real pleasure.
In the future I'll add a photo of my trucks.
