Also i havent started yet but we got her a new dashboard and before i start that i wanted to see if anybody knows off the top of their head how to take the old one off to replace it. Its probably not too dificult but id rather get some pointers on both issues before i dive into them.

gas door maybe hinge worn? mine squeaks, i need to lube it.
As for dash board, loosen gauge bezel, take 4 screws off the bottom side on passenger side dash board (Below the right trim piece) and then 1 screw in drivers side door jam, should come out easy (did on my 82-83) |
