Adding power brakes?

What is involved in adding this feature. Right now Im really wanting it, I know you need a booster/master cylinder and some vaccum lines to goto it. But how does this swap go?

Well,

You will definitely need a booster, master, and proportioning valve. in addition, you will add a vacuum line from the booster to the rear of your carb.

i am unsure of the bracketry of the manual brake trucks, but hopefully, they use the same bracket. if not, that will need to be addressed.

also, the brake pedal on manual brakes tend to be a 6:1 ratio, whereas a power brake pedal is only 5:1 ratio.
to fix this, you can either change brake pedals to a power brake one, or drill a new hole 1 inch lower on the pedal to compensate.

if you end up swapping, i have a booster and pedal available. if you are going for the "all new parts" approach, i would suggest looking up MP Brakes. They have great website and good products for a very fair price. I believe they have a good tech section as well.

good luck!!
