Cold Transmission Woes

I just picked up my truck from the previous owner this weekend and it is awesome! One thing I noticed this morning when I went out to start it was that it took a little while for it to go into any gear. What could be the causes of something like this? When warm it does great. It is an Automatic....I am guessing a Turbo 350 trans. It just doesnt seem to engage until it is warm.

Yep, check the fluid level and color as previously stated.

Sounds like a filter and fluid change would be a good thing to try. The filter may be plugged some.

Low fluid or hardened seals inside trans
