Different style hood....need input
I am looking at hoods for my truck, I have tossed up regular stock hoods, to cowl induction hoods in both fiberglass and steel. I have come up with one I think I like I just can't make up my mind. This truck isn't meant to be a show queen, but more of a driver/strip truck. I really like the look of the older Dodge Hemi hood scoop like on this car:
http://www.up22.com/CustomersPhotos/BR162-400a.jpg How do you think this would look on one of our trucks? I can get the fiberglass stock flat hood and the scoop and then get them put together. I think it will be different and look pretty sweet!! |

Re: Different style hood....need input
That scoop would look horrible on a truck....IMHO.
I ran one on my Charger for awhile and ya gotta brace 'em, as the wind resistance causes the hood and scoop to flex alot over @ 45mph. |
Re: Different style hood....need input
Do not waste ur time with unlimited products, there prodcuts are terrible and there customer service is even worse.
Try glasstek or vfnfiberglass , Way better products and can make anything you want. |

What about US Body Source?

Re: Different style hood....need input
After thinking about it all night, it probably wouldn't look good. I for sure want to go the fiberglass route for weight savings, should I go bolt on or pin on?
