Tires to fit 12 inch wide rims
 

Will 35x12.50 superswampers m16's fit on a 12 inch wide rim? I looked on the SS website and it says theyll go up to 10 i think but im goin for the wide tire look...if not what width tire should i look for for a 12 inch wide rim?

Ideally the width of the tread, should be the same as the width of the rim. For a 12" wide wheel, you'll probably need a 14.50 to look right.

The problem is finding a truck that wil fit the rims.These days a 10" wheel is considered a wide option for 12.50s with 8" more common.I ran 14.50s for years on 10" wheels and never felt a need for wider.12" is for huge tires like 40s and bigger.

They will fit. But, i think you should get around 14.50 wide tires.

Here is some 33/12.5/15's on 12in wide wheels.

On my sx's that are 35/15.50/15's on a 12in wheel look great to me, and have a wide contact patch. As shown.

Yea I think 10''s would be better then the 12''s I got 12" rims on my big yellow but I am running 39.5" Swampers lol.
