No, the bracket(s) come predrilled. The brackets (one for the dash, one for the column) in the new Sunpro retro tachs are identical to the originals.

Here's a pic of mine with the the big 5" monster tach. Not quite my taste; it was in the truck when I bought it. It has been used as a speedo as well:lol:

I did just find an original old sun tach at a junk yard (similar to the one markeb01 has pictured)

Hoping to have it sent out and tested, and and have the control box updated for my ignition as well:)
