Clocks -who has them in their guage cluster?

How difficult is it to use the open/empty guage slot to put in a clock, and what or where are you getting the clock from that looks good with the other guages?? Thanks..

I am planning on doing this for my crew cab project. Most use a quartz clock out of a 81-91 Old body style chevy/gmc. I took it one step further and took the faceplate off of a earlier 73-80 clock and modified it to fit on the later quartz clock as the fonts look better with our letters on our clusters. Trevor

I have been researching this as well. Does somebody have a picture of the stock clock offered? I am going to be putting the clock below in my truck. I found it on Egauges.com where they have TONS of different gauges. This one is part of the ac cobra/427 series. I just like how simple looking it is. It is the same size as the smaller gauge holes in our dashes.

I did the exact same thing.

Looks like an easy install. Now I just have to go searching for the clock. It sure does make the bezel alot more sharper!!!! I assume that this was a factory option back in the day?? I just don't ever see many clocks in the ol' 67-72 chevy trucks.

They were never available as a option. Just a mod some have done.

I used the above Autometer clock as a pattern to make a clock to fit the center hole. The part # at the bottom is the Autometer part # for the clock.

That's a big a$$ clock, for those who really really need to know what time it is.

GM did not put clocks in these trucks from the factory, but I have installed many of them and sold quiet a few of them on ebay! This is one that I just finished What do you think?
