I have a 72 chevy rear end with 3.07 gears. Does anyone know if this gearset will fit in a 77 housing that currently has 3.70 gears?

I'm no rearend expert but the 72 carrier should take gears up to 3.73. The higher number ratios require a bigger carrier.
