Hard Top Comes Off Today ..Anyone else?
 

First time I have pulled my top off since purchase. Going to install a Softopper. Wish me luck and pray for little to no rust for me. PO had the K5 for 5 years and never removed the top...Sacrilege!

Damb that serious. You should keep it a little longer. They are hard to come by. My advise is keep it for the cold season. You never know. Just my two cents..

I took the top off, that damn thing sat in my back yard for years! Sell it, you could get about $450 to 55o for it. Rains about 30 days out of the year in so cal anyways.

Yanked mine last week and built this rack Sunday to get the top out of the way.

Drove it Friday night and enjoyed lots of crap in my eyes even though I vacuumed it out real good :lol:

Been topless for awhile. AZ warmth makes it easy to take it off for the majority of the year.

Top came off this evening. We've got at least 4 days of rain free time here so I took the top off tonight and will put the soft-top on over the next few days. Just got back from the Ice cream place for the first convertible cruise.

Don't remember the last time it was on! Wife said ( then ) she loves the top off, now when she rides in it " it blows my hair all over " I have two choices;
1. wrong sometimes
2. wrong all the time

I can still go for a ride in my Blazer with my dog, and SHE likes it.

Nice! Also took my top off yesterday. I ALWAYS put the top back on in the winter for cold driving. Same exterior color, same wheels, as mine, but I have a black top. And I can never resist a nice Romeo Y Julieta Habana! :smoke:
