Tire preferences
What size tires do you all run on your trucks? I'm looking to get a set soon, as now I've got snow tires on back and some on front that aren't good handling. Something that would handle well, and I'm not off road much. What's on there now are the common 235 75 r 15's.
What do you all recommend for a road tire that doesn't necessarily have to be stock size, but affordable? '70GMCStep '65 Chevy C-10 :chevy: '70 GMC Short stepside :gmc2: |
Re: Tire preferences
I've got cooper discover atr's for my 68 gmc pickup and my 00 zr2 blazer. my dad has the same for his one ton chev dually. they handle and wear really nice, and are pretty good in the snow.

Re: Tire preferences
There are several things that will determine what a "good tire" is for you.
First off is the truck stock or lowered (I assume not given the size you have now), what wheels are on it (width)? How do you use the truck and how much do you drive. Of course cost is always a consideration but should not be the only thing that dictates your purchase decision. As mentioned the Cooper ATR is a great tire but it is not the only one out there. More info is helpful. Quote:
