quad shock set ups-pros an cons

looking at possibly installing the quad shock set upon my K20, have a kit I bought from a fellow member but local yard (justchevytrucks.com) has a true stock set up, looking for some opinions an possibly pics?? Does it help ride quality, will it help on the trails or hurt??
