Signals don't signal.

Hi, My 78s turn signals don't work. But the emergency flashers do. I am guessing it will be the turn signal switch. Is there anything else that might cause it to do this?
I'm pretty sure it has to be the switch but any input would be appretiated. Thanks. CoryM.

Which ones dont work? All? If all turn signals quit at the same time but the flashers still work, I work look for a loose power wire to the turn signal assenbly first.

Thanks Denny, It was the power wire going to the switch. BTW whoever designed the steering column on these trucks should be shot. Kinda sucks to remove the snap ring that holds the "lockplate" on Happy trucking http://67-72chevytrucks.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif CoryM
