Will the American Eagle 225's fit my truck?

I've tried a few wheel options and came to realize that 22's just ain't gonna work with a 5 1/2"-7" drop with stock inner fenders. So this is another option I've came up with. Maybe a 20x8.5 and 20x10 combo. Do these wheels fit the 1 1/4" rotors (heavy duty brakes)?

BTW here are some pics from yesterday with the 22's on (from my Tahoe but they rub too much on front driver side):

Ok thanks.. good to know.. Yours turned out killer.. Maybe I just need to figure out a way to mod my inner fender. I took it out once but when I realized how hard it would to do the passenger side I put it back on... Plus it rains tooo much here...

Why won't they work? Is the hub size different? Could it be machined? I had thought about getting those wheels when I saw your truck but I just put on hd brakes last week. This is kinda spoiling my plans.

Which wheels are you guys referring to? The Eagle 225's or the U2-55's?
The U2-55's fit no problem...

What about the center cap? Will it fit? Is the spindle too long? Remove dustcap?

Hey Roadrage... if the driver side is rubbing more... check to see if the tire is rubbing on your bolt heads that attach your jack onto the fender well.

Nah it's not rubbing on the jack bolts. I already removed the jack. I jacked it up the other day and spun the coil spring around 180 degrees and now it doesn't rub as much (almost bearable). Thanks though..

you will need to get the dimensions of the HD rotar Ill give you the dimensions of the LD rotar and you can compare and see where the interferances are.

Re: Will the American Eagle 225's fit my truck?

Ya they don't fit as cherub said, They are off about 1/8 of an inch on the hub all around. I'm just going to use a grinder around the hub until I get the CPP 13" brake kit.

The good thing is you don't have to grind the lower portion of the hub where it needs to be hubcentric and perfectly round to get them to fit.

I'll be picking up a set of these this week if I can sneak away from work long enough to make the 2 hour drive.

I wont beable to put mine on for about 8-10 days, but they wont be staying on. I hate putting nice wheels that are for a lowered truck on a truck that isnt lowered yet! I will have pics though at its nosebleed ride height! haha..

I know what you mean. I'm probably going to just pick them up and put them on this weekend when I install my rear flip kit.
The guy said he only has the one set in stock so I hope nobody beat me to them.

Yea, 1" rotors so hopefully they'll bolt right up

Re: Will the American Eagle 225's fit my truck?

Ya they should, might have to tap the dust cap in a little bit.. I thought about buying the 1" rotors and everything but, In about 3-4 months im going to do CPPs 13" brake kit up front and their 12" kit out back. Dont want to buy everything twice..
