71 TKB 402 available (not mine)
 

Anyone interested in a complete 71 402 with TKB on the pad? The engine is complete from fan to flexplate and oil-pan to air cleaner (including q-jet). Has AC, alternator, water and fuel pumps, pulleys, brackets, exhaust manifolds, etc. (FYI - alternator bracket is pre-72).

This is not mine but I can help someone buy it if interested.

I don't know the mileage but I was told it ran well when removed. I don't recall seeing mounts on it. The price just went from $800 to $450. I suspect it could be bought for less than $400. I was going to offer him $300 and part it out but someone may be looking for a complete engine for their project.

Do you think it could be crated up and what does TKB mean? Will he take 300?

code on front pad of engine with last 5 digits of serial # designates engine specs
