1955 Chevy panel truck

Hi everyone. I'm posting here for the first time because I need some info on a '55 Chevy panel truck that I inherited from my dad. Its been stored in the desert for the past 30 or so years. It has the original 265 engine and 4 speed hydro-matic trans. Not sure how it originally came but when my dad got it was converted into a camper by adding a bed in the back and a small floor heater. My dad also changed out the front and rear suspension to 3/4 ton. Not sure if the rear is limited slip. Body is in good condition with a little damage to the rear left panel and some surface rust. Its missing the radiator and generator.
I had a few people give me some different values on what the truck is worth so I thought I'd come to this forum to get a better idea of its value. So it boils down to what do you guys think it worth?

I'm surprised no one here has any idea what this vehicle might be worth. Actually I've gotten more response on a firearm forum. Is more info needed?

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it!!!!

Seriously though, nice looking unit with little to no rust (we don't find anything like that up North, always rusted out) should be worth quite.

Show us some more pics of the trouble areas

If I were selling it I would not go below 2k. Some might pay up to 3500 but you need the right guy that wants a panel and they aren't as popular as the steps and fleets. It does look to be in very good shape but the side windows cut in to it decrease the value. Its going to be hard to patch that up. 3/4 ton axles on a 1/2 ton chassis is another detractor. The 3/4 ton chassis is a heavier chassis than 1/2 ton

uh ohh I believe those are ford taillights.. Jk I used them on my truck also. I would say that truck here would bring an easy 3500. But if you put a couple dollars into it and had it running and a few small items cleaned up, i would say an easy 5000.

next question is paperwork as your in cal. does it have clean "non op" on it? it needs to be viewed in person to really get a true value as it has been modified.
