Pics of squares pulling a camper?
Does anyone else on here use their square body to pull a camper? These trucks were built to tow and cary campers so does anyone use theirs for this?I have an '85 K30 that I'm building to pull a 5th wheel and need some pictures for motivation. I'll post pics once I have time to figure out how at home.

Re: Pics of squares pulling a camper?
Yeah, the fiver will be my next big purchase after I chase down all the little grimlins in the K30. Wife doesn't trust it yet so I need the bosses approval to proced with the plan ;)

Re: Pics of squares pulling a camper?
gloriavoxdei,
The trailer is supposed to be a 24ft (but it measures about 28 feet) and it has a large slideout. GVWR on the trailer is 8400 lbs. When I went across the truck scales (no family, and the trailer not loaded for camping) I weighed 14500lbs. With the family, firewood, clothes, food, etc I figure I am at about 16000 lbs going down the road. I get about 5-5.5 mpg pulling the trailer. For you guys doing the math thats about 75 miles to a tank of gas!!! lol Greg |

Re: Pics of squares pulling a camper?
Here's our old trailer on the last outing with it. It's heavy! 1972 Holiday Rambler! Now we have a Hybrid alumalite cub, much lighter. The Yukon pulls that with ease! http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y23.../davids019.jpg
