Restoration manual

Can anyone tell me if there is a book or restoration manual for our trucks that detail what suspension, frame and under the hood components were painted and what color they were painted or coated?

I wouldn't mind creating a list of components like master cylinder, brake booster, hood hinges, spindles, calibers, etc if members could provide their input if they were bare, painted (what color), or coated/plated. I think it would be worth while have it all in one location.
