67 rolling frame

i got my frame and its a swb its got nothing on it for suspension and im going to put my motor and tranny in soon and my dad said not until we get the front shocks in and the brake lines on so what i want to is would it be really hard to put new shocks on when the motor and tranny is on for the front and when i install the brake lines would thta be hard to

I dont know any reasons why you would need shocks on before you put the motor in thats not how i did it atleast

That's a mystery to me too. IMO it's easier with the engine installed, because then you will have some compression on the springs.

Yo, Dude! Mix in some punctuation. I almost ran out of breath trying to read this... and I wasn't even reading it outloud.

Now, just like everyone else said, as long as the springs are installed, you don't need shocks. Just don't install the motor with no springs and the shocks installed!

are you gonna clean it up first? wheres the pics man!! lol

id prolly be easier to do the brakeslines that go on the front crossmember with out the motor on, the rest of it wouldnt matter much i wouldnt think.

Nope, haven't built mine yet... unless you count the thousands of times I've built it in my head! I did take it apart, though. :smoke:
