where to hide speakers

Where and what is best place to hide 6x9's in a 76 truck ? I dont want under seat, too muffled, but dunno where else to go with them and the amp.

Ideas suggestions ?

forgot to mention:i just have speakers no amp so i dont know wherwe you could put that

I have 6x9s behind my seat in good boxes and they sound good. I mounted my amp under the dash... but I wouldnt suggest that. Put amp under seat. I have put in more speakers now just because I had them but I think just two 6x9s sounded good enough. Good Luck. CoryM

Guess thats what Ill do then. Thanks !!

Didnt some cabs allow you to mount the speakers just under the rear window in the corners of cab ?
Or was that 81-up only ?

I have a 74 and I mounted mine in the cab corners. It's a plate or bracket, whatever you want to call it. I just don't remember where I got them.

As I recall that speaker monut plate was a bolt in piece, that should still be available from GM. I think it's for 4x10's tho

thats where i was talkin about randy. in the back cab pillers
