Re: Ebay truck.....A little pricey ! ! !
Please, for $30 000 I could build a heck of a lot better truck than that! And it wouldn't need an interior and mechanical work lol

Re: Ebay truck.....A little pricey ! ! !
That guy has got to be kidding. That means i could get atleast 20,000 for mine. I was hoping he added an extra 0 then read the story and seen 30,000. Wow value sure has went up on these old things.

You gotta have the wording to make it all fall in to place.

I was thinking to sell my 80 for 5000 bucks but I thought it was too pricey ...

Re: Ebay truck.....A little pricey ! ! !
Thanks guys. I love how he goes on about all the stuff he did to keep it GM original but doesn't seem to mind that he put aftermarket stuff on it. Especially that ugly hood. Either the truck is original or it's not, and this is a not.
Oh and how can the paint be closer to factory than a factory paint job?? |

Re: Ebay truck.....A little pricey ! ! !
Factory paint means a few dry spots, some orange peel, dirt and a few small runs here and there. I've actually heard of people making sure a run was replaced upon a repaint on a classic.
I've owned lots of new cars and trucks and have yet to get one with a 'perfect' paint job. I've actually walked people on to the new car lot to show them this sort of stuff, when they complain about our repair having a piece of dirt in it or something trivial. /end rant |

Re: Ebay truck.....A little pricey ! ! !
.....................or his, um, nagging wife is pestering him to sell his prized possession. "Sure baby doll, I'll sell it, it's on eBay right now".

Re: Ebay truck.....A little pricey ! ! !
I think S10Fan hit the nail on the head. For that much money, the truck needs to be pristine & poop gold. Not some interior stuff here & there, leaking seal, etc etc. The guy is on crack or has been exposed by S10Fan.
