truck randomly wont' start........theft lock?
 

i have a 2001 2500hd 4x4. since the weekend it will randomly not start. it turns over just fine but doesn't fire up like it isn't getting any fuel. i know with our 98 malibu we had issues with the theftlock acting up but we have no messages telling us it is activated.

any ideas?

I'm thinking when the Passlock kicks in the securitly light should be flashing, theres no fuel pump, no ignition and no crank. My Mom in law would die while running down the road and the securitly light would be flashing. It turned out to be a bad ignition switch.

security light is never on, the engine does crank over just fine
