Camel Hump Heads
 

Ok im building a 350 68-76 Engine 2 bolt main, 40 over flat top Badger pistons, Rv cam.
Now im hearing about these camel humps do i use them with todays fuel Blends,Compression? or do i get a good set of heads and shave 10ths off the heads. And what will this do for me.
It is a 4x4 pickup??/ Please any info would help.

With your average thick head gasket the auto parts are selling your talking around 9.5 to 9.7 compression depending on pistons (ie dish=less. or flat with -7--9 cc's). You can usually run today's gas with this setup, cam has a lot to do with it. Wanna buy a set I have two extra.
