How does everyone feel about sony decks?
 

I need to replace my deck. My search criteria has been: aux input in front for 3.5 jack, green lighting for buttons etc, RDS [radio data system] and at least 2 sets of rca's in back.

I was searching all night last night and the only ones I found with everything were sony's. I settled on CDX-GT640UI. How has everyones exsperience with sony's been?

I got one in my truck and I love it, just got it a year ago. Also got the IPod adapter for it also and it works well.

I've had 2 sony head units and was impressed with them until I got my Kenwood 994. It really woke up my system compared to the sony (don't remember which sony I had though) using all the same compenents. I'm pretty sure it meets all your criteria as well.

ive only had one sony deck, worked great until someone stole it. sonys was a big player like 10 15 years ago, but pretty much has fallen out of the car audio market. quality i find is still good, however seem to focus on lower end and fewer products then their old rivals pioneer, alpine etc
