Carpeting a K10
So i bought the carpet kit from brothers which looks great, but i'm not sure what else i need to hold the carpet down. I have no inside trim peices for anything any advice guys? thanks in advance

hey bud, you really only need the sill plates at the edge of the carpet next to the door. other than that, the seat and seat belt bolts will hold it in place. plus a little spray adhesive if you wish. but if you're doing more with your sound system, i'd leave it un-glued so you can route wires under the carpet easier.

when your installing the carpet let it sit out in the sun for a few hours to release the box wrinkles and for a easier installation

You can use a scribe to poke through the seat & belt holes from below so you don't cut too big of a hole in the carpet for the mounting bolts. This way they are in exactly the right spot.
Leaving the bolts in the holes is commonly done but can be hard to get the hole positioned just right as the carpet is lifted up at the bolts. |
