Re: spid
Hey Rick, Check out this thread. The option is z62. Longhorn Man posted this 6 years ago. It's in the faq section. I understand it took him 1 1/2 hours to type in. So a shoutout to Andy for that. It's from a gm 67 restoration catalog and in about 5 min of reading your going to be a expert on standard and optional equipment and the codes. Hope this helps. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=121155

Re: spid
i seen that one but it only has 3 letters/digits on mine all of the ones i can see have around 6 letters/digits

Re: spid
Rick, Those 3 digits are contained in the 6 digit code on the spid. Short code vs long code, so the long code on the spid could look like this 4Z62AA. I don't know what the extra digits mean, sorry bout that. I've heard some guesses like assy plant or date or time or person working. But the option code is only 3 digits. I sent a couple of emails out to some friends of mine to see if they know exactly what those extra digits/codes mean. I'll let you know what I find out. Hopefully someone who knows will chime in. Thanks
