Re: e3 + Big Red x4 ≈ 77 Air Square
Very Nice.
Let me know how you like the new e3 setup. I'm trying to decide if it's worth the money to upgrade. |
Re: e3 + Big Red x4 ≈ 77 Air Square

Got the E-3 setup minus the level pro (i like to play with the ride height too much). Seems to be the hot set up, and thanks to Tony at Air Ride Technologies....very helpfull as allways!

Re: e3 LevelPro + Big Red x4 ≈ 77 Air Square
Ken, I noticed in that last photo with the four bar at full droop, your two arms appear ( from the photo ) to look like thet are getting close to lining up in line or parallel with each orther. You have to make sure that they will not line up with each other even under axle articulation. If that happens it could very easily rotate over center and try to go the other way damaging the sensor. Looks like you could cheat and just extend your rod ends out a smidge more if you needed to.

Re: e3 LevelPro + Big Red x4 ≈ 77 Air Square
Tony it my be a bit of an illusion. I will double check before I make the final assembly. That just gave me a view of the travel and allowed me to determine a good mounting point for the lower bracket.

Re: e3 LevelPro + Big Red x4 ≈ 77 Air Square
I didn't get as far as I would like to tonight. I worked late then stopped by the local hardware store to grab some supplies. I did get the drivers side shock off, and took some measurements.
I discovered the front shocks were rather worn so I plan to upgrade them. I decided to splurge and get the best that Ride Tech has to offer. I will be ordering a set of the Billet Adjustable (dual action) shocks from Tony on Thursday. |
