91 back bumper on my 76
 

I use to have a 91 GMC and I took the bumper off and put a roll pan on it before I totaled the truck. Well my 76 had a roll pan and I didnt care for it much so I traded it for a sliding back glass with the thought, hey Ill just put my 91 bumper on the truck. Well I just went out there and the brackets off my 91 wont fit and the brackets on the bumper are to wide. So how do I put this bumper on?

91 GMC what? Was it the "new" body style truck? If so, you'll probably need to fab up your own brackets for it.

I have the style bumper on my 77 blazer. I will take some pics of the bkts and bumper so you can get an idea.

It was a 91 GMC sierra 1/2 ton step-side. And thanks, pics would defiantly help.

Here you go i hope they help. It looks like the center bkts are the only thing holding it to the frame. The bumper does not move at all. I dont know if the brkts are factory or if someone custom made them to fit.*****Sorry photos will not upload*** I will try again tomm.
