60-66 OEM POWERSTEERING/Auto column
 

This is a complete OEM power set up 4,5,6. Worked great when the truck was parked a year ago.. comes complete minus the powersteering pump. Will include centerlink and even tie ends if desired. Price with shipping 350$

I do have an automatic column that has the linkage eye broke off, might rebuild to sell or if someone wants it as is 125$ shipped.

Does the column also need to be shortened/lengthened or changes or will it plug into place in my originally equipped non-P/S frame without modification?

Its an orig 66 automatic column so it should bolt right in. It would need rebuilt as I am not rebuilding it. I can send some pics if you like. Been real busy soI will try and get back asap.

was it in a V8 truck or L6?

Due to the radiator support I believe to be a V8, its a 350 atm but of course not orig. I do not believe there is any difference between the 6 or 8 steering columns, correct me if I am wrong.

Oh it appears i left out some info for ya, this column is an auto column out of a 1966 chevy truck, your questions now that I read them back appear as if you were suspecting it was not.

It is an orig part and will bolt directly in. As I said the linkage eye will need to be replaced/repaired and the column should be rebuilt. I can rebuild it but of course the price will go up. I charge 150 to rebuild, they are not to difficult and parts are avail so would be worth doing it yourself too.
