Define "fit"? Anything will fit, with the proper application of force, heat, saws, glue and swear words.
Someone had a photo up of an 03 interior, air bag steering wheel and all, in a square body truck.

Will it fit? No!
Can it be made to fit? Yes!
Will it look good? Not in my opinion, but that just personal taste.

I once saw a 1998-2002 trans am complete interior, i'm talkin dash, console, seats, everything. In a 1948 caddillac. Looked like it came factory like that.

If he gave you a tuner wing or type R sticker...would you put those on your truck too?

I don't think those newer dashes look good in older trucks, they are also quite deep and make the interior seem tiny IMO.

I have seen a lot of interiors custom fit into something else. The depth of the dash can always be cut down, and I think it would look good with a newer style interior. My only major thing would be trying to get all the gauges and misc. to work correctly. If you go through all the work to put a custom dash in from a different truck, and then go with aftermarket gauges like autometer, that just defeats the purpose. (IMO). I personally like the look of the newer style interiors.

In my personal oppinion, i would only do it in a crew cab..but thats just me. I'd also like the newer motor and stuff too.

I've always wanted an older vehicle with all the new creature comforts and needless things.....like Onstar lol.

You can make the seats & dash fit but the dash is so deep that there isn't much room left between the steering wheel and the seat for a driver to fit into.

Taking just the gauge pod section and making it fit like the first pic above will fix the clearance problem.
