Reproduction 1968 fenders

$125.00 obo for the pair. I paid $125.00 each at the Jefferson Wi swap meet two years ago. I can bring them most places in southern Wisconsin for a small fee.

I'm not sure how to calculate shipping. I'll work with you on it though.

These are getting loaded up today to go to the scrapyard with the 68 burb rear barn door. I think I hear taps playing in the distance...

Can any of you more experienced guys tell me the best way to ship these fenders?

Re: Reproduction 1968 fenders

I would think either strapped to a pallet or in oversized boxes with a decent amount of padding. Good luck with the sale.

Greyhound bus lines are the cheapest around. Shipgreyhound.com Now if you don't have a bus terminal near by it can be a hassle.

Where are you in Wisconsin? If you can get them to Fond du Lac I would take them and the sub door for $100 delivered.

Box them up and take them to FedEx for a shipping quote.

I'm pretty close to fdl. That being said, I'd rather scrap them than waste my time delivering the parts for that price. For that matter, I'd would give them away first. Cheers.

Hey do they have the front lower cups? If so that's all I need from them. Chop them off throw them in a small box, call it $15 shipping and tell me what you would want for them. That way you don't have to worry about packing the whole fender up.
Let me know.

Sorry if I offended you, just trying to make an offer and save you the trouble of shipping. That being said it surely won't be worth your time to scrap them for $5 so maybe just tossing them in the dumpster is your best option.

Sorry, sir. I replied to the wrong user. I guess I identified another downside of posting from a cell phone.

This occurrence reminds me of a friend of mine. He was selling hubcaps at the flea market, a guy wanted to buy a Cadillac hubcap he had, The price was a fair price of 10 bucks, This guy offered 5 bucks. My friend told him I'll stomp it before I take 5 dollars for it. Guy said you would not, Well Ole Dave proceeded to throw it on the ground and stomp the piss out of it, right there while the guy watched. Needless to say the guy was shocked. The guys wife gave Dave the 10 dollars because she said it was worth seeing her husband finally get put in his place for being a cheapskate.

Now I relayed this story to give you guys a laugh, not to offend anybody in anyway.

Honest to God - I was bringing the fenders and door over to my neighbor's house tonight and we were going to flatten them all in to a crushed ball with his backhoe. I was going to then post a picture and write, "Hey, now I can save some gas money by delivering them on a motorcycle. What's your address?"

I wish I was close, I'd grab them up but I'd also crumple them up
