Picking Up my new truck today
 

Picking up my 78 today at 6 can't wait. I haven't even seen it but my father has and I trust his word. Talking with the owner over the phone it hasn't moved much more than a couple miles a month for the last 15 years and it has 90k on it and has been garaged its entire life. No real questions here just trying to kill time till I can go get it.:uhmk:

Pics when you get it! Hope it's as good as you want it to be man. I found out that just being moved "from front yard to back yard for the last several years" is really not that good on them. Is the way mine was when I bought it, started falling apart a lot faster than I wanted it to.

Ya picked it up the interior is AMAZING it looks like it came off the floor. No cracks at all in the dashpad no scuffs anything cruise even works. Its a Cheyenne Big 10. turns out it has tiny bits of rust Cab is perfect the passenger front fender needs to be replaced due to rust on the bottom. The bed sides are perfect except right behind the wheel wells. Over all I think I did AMAZING. I'll shoot some pics tomorrow night and post em.

Oh And I drove it the 2.5 hours home mostly interstate and it drove out like a champ.

Ok I'll try and take some pictures at noon today and get them posted. But on another note I only have one set of keys. Since this is an older vehicle can I just go to my local Walmart or home store and have them copy the key?

It needs cleaned up still I need to take that topper off and I need to get the bug deflector off of it. I want to eventually change out the bumper too so that I don't have those lights and what not.
These pictures don't even do the interior justice.

I will this winter I plan on not driving her unless there is no salt on the road as well as saving up to get the bits of rust taken care of professionally. Then who knows bonus allowing perhaps I can get her painted this next summer as well. I think I want to keep it the original colors but a red over white would look nice too.
