There is a guy here in town who has about 1 1/2 complete trucks worth of SWB NOS stuff. He is selling it all for $6K but wont part it out. He basically bought everything about 25 years ago and stored it in the back room of his buisness. PM me if you want his contact info.

Brian

SnakeOyl can redo your belts for around $500 but I had a set done by them and will never do it again.

72ironmike, please tell why you will not use SnakeOyl ever again.
I am thinking of using them

Re: WANTED to BUY

burb71, For me it was just the process of dealing with them. I believe they are unscrupulous to possibly downright dishonest. They get your belts and then they hold you up. They wanted to redo the entire belt when my chrome, retractors & buckles were all perfect. Once they get your belts you are kinda over a barrell & that is how they play it in my opinion. And I don't think the quality of their work is that good either.

Thats not good news, sorry to here this.
I thought they were the way to go.
So the before and after pics that are on the web site are not accurate representations of there work?
Can you show pics of your belts and point out what you are not happy with?
I had the same kind of trouble with... Dennis Chevy truck parts
He is here in Florida, about 130 miles north of me I heard all good things about him years ago so I said I was going to have him do what little body work that I needed on my 98% rust free truck, Driver and pass outer rockers
change the dash, "it had the radio spot hacked up" and a spot on the drivers kick panel the size of a quarter.
He did awful work on every part he half A$$ installed.

Sorry to you Field and Son for my personal rant on your post
