Is this an optical illusion or is this panel longer than normal?

I think that fact that is "slammed" makes it look longer....or at least it does when I have my Burb laid out, :).

Re: Long panel?
Don't know about the 67-72's, but I've seen two ultra-long versions in the 60-66 style...

Re: Long panel?
looks long to me and really dig that patina.:lol:

Re: Long panel?
Ive seen other long panels but never one of this body style. Im thinking because its so low and missing a smidgen lol or so of the bottom it just looks longer.

Re: Long panel?
Mine measures a bit over 8' from the base of the back doors to the back of the front seats. But, no, that looks about the same as my '69. Room enough for a full sheet of plywood, and room enough to sleep in.

I think the only part in the picture worth salvaging is the passenger side door glass. |
Re: Long panel?
Using the highly scientific method,I have determined that it is a standard length Panel.I don't see why you think it's not saveable(is that a word?)Looks like "It'll buff right out!"
BTW,The highly scientific method mentioned above, means,I put my scale against the monitor and since the door measured 1 in and the length of the rest was 4 in it should be about like all the others. |
