no fm sound. tape sound and am sound but no fm???
 

so theres an aftermarket radio in truck i bought a while back.
and the radio works, and dont work.
tape worked for a minute but now does not.
am works.
fm does not work.
does this sound like a problem with the radio itself?
i was gonna pick up an adapter to run ipod out of cig lighter, but there 70-80 bucks, and for that im pretty sure i can pick up another headunit for a couple more bucks...

A new deck with iPod cable runs as cheap as $100 online. You'd be MUCH better off going that route.

Also, it sound like terminal failure of the current deck.
