Some pics of my old trucks...
My first was a 86 Burban 2wd but that got totaled because I was a teen and was stupid. It was mint and had no body work done ever.
http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL59...0/66467733.jpg 2nd was an 83 Custom Deluxe 3/4 ton. With 4 inch lift and 35's. Went threw 3 engines, 2 tranny rebuilds and a lot of abuse. Here it is when I first bought it. http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL59...0/66467981.jpg And here it is almost ready for the scrap yard. Just need to pull the motor now. http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL59.../390653228.jpg Next came an 84 Burban that was only $600 and pretty decent. It really was not all that bad body wise but I blew up the motor, and did not have the time or money to dump anything into it. Here it was when I got it. http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL59.../390653554.jpg And the last pic I had of it before the scrap yard got it. I was dumb and should have kept it. http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL59.../390653485.jpg And now I got this ride: 91 Burban with 6 inch lift and 36's. http://pic100.picturetrail.com/VOL59.../389352019.jpg Now there were a couple more cars/truck in between but they are not squares so I am not posting them. |

Re: Some pics of my old trucks...
you should keep the roll bar too, then give it to me lol. but really why scrap it? it can be fixed.

Re: Some pics of my old trucks...
The roll bar is only a show bar, and it's junk. The bolts/screws are rusted and it's not worth saving. I am only saving the tires, engine, and push bumper since it's the older heavy steel and not the junk they sell now. The frame is almost shot, It could be saved since there are not holes in it though, but the body is shot, the axles need to be redone also. I would have to put too much money into it and it's already a money pit. Time to cut my loses. I hate to junk any square body but you got to know when to cut and run.
