Best Shocks for 4x4?

I need new shocks for my 87 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4.{4 shocks in front).Prefer a smooth street shock,as opposed to offroad use.Any favorite brands/models out there? Thanks,John H.

rs9000s are a good shock and adjustable for your ride comfort.... kinda pricey... some monroe light duty truck shocks might be what you want
dont get rancho 5000s though there stiff!
