My 84 had step bumper originally
bought one from bone yard , brackets & all 50.00 5-6 yrs ago
was a sport bumper off a 81-87 with a few wrinkles & dents
wasnt satisfied > ordered aftermarket one > was different mold from what I had, been on truck for a few years .
went to pick & pull this year-got one off a 81-87 burb. looked much like the aftermarket one on my truck now after Igot it home & compared,
the only thing I can figure is that what I originaaly replaced my step bumper was from a 73-80.
So Im assumming a 73-80 sport bumper will fit a 81-87 . The 73-80's to me look a lot cleaner > where it wraps around the rear quarter panel is not as long & wide as the 81-87,s
Does anyone know for sure if the 73-80 sport fits the 81-87 ?

It'll fit, but I am pretty sure the brackets are different between 73-80 and 81-87
