2.8 v-6 in '87 S-15 Jimmy
Does anyone know of any resources for info on the 2.8 V-6 engine? Mine has a lot of miles and is getting weak, or should I say weaker than normal. I've never really liked the 2.8, but I do still like the Jimmy. I would appreciate any ideas, links, etc. Thanks for your help.

I agree with the Jags that Rin comment, but if you want something a little more V6, GM makes a 3.4 litre replacement crate motor that bolts in where your 2.8 was. Now don't expect the power of a 4.3, but it's an easy swap, and should be good for some HP over the 2.8. Really though, if you want some more power, go with the Jags V8 conversion. The 2.8 can be hopped up a bit, but it still has the week @ss crank in it when your done. You can put just about anythihng in it. If it is a toy, i think I'd go with a 350.
