gun metal paint job on 83 slvrdo ?????
 

ok im lifting my chevy 1983 silverado 4 inch high the paint job im going to paint my truck is gun metal mostly because i think it would look un originol and just badass but i chose to go with "gun metal grey" i have a long bed so what you think guys ????

heres a gun metal i think its a nissan idk why i searched gun metal grey this car came up its straight gun metal and darker but i think its to strong of a look for a lifted chevy

I had a 70 Chevelle that was the same color. That car looked great in that color and a square body 4x4 would as well.

It hides dirt pretty well too.

The gunmetal on the Chevelle is my vote. I painted my rear bumper and headache rack with it and I would like to paint my entire rig that color.

yea that color on the chevelle is gun metal "grey" im leaning towards that one i think the gun metal would look to load of a color and not as sleek and nice

I made my descision im going with gun metal grey the pain job is going to be done in 12 days for a good price and im going to take all the decals off and just have a lifted 4 high clean truck heres the pics now after some new tires

interesting so why would the front be low like this i mean the owner previously said it was a 4x4 i think it is but he didnt know much.i would like to know anything you have to say im going to straighten it out when i get the lift i dont like it that way

if this is your truck it sits low in the front cause its a 2 wheel drive you can tell cause it is 5 lug not 6

a couple of easy ways to tell 2wd from 4wd:

look under the front end if there is an axle similar to the rear end it's 4wd.
there should be a shifter on the floor on the transmission hump.
