power steering bracket need help

bought this kit off ebay and have tried all afternoon to find a way to make it work. just doesnt seem to fit good. anyone used a kit like this that can fill me in on some details maybe pics? its a sbc 350 long water pump

Haven't seen that style before. Perhaps a study of the way the Alan Grove steel brackets are set up will provide some ideas about how they might work:
