Which clutch?

I am about to buy a new clutch for my '83 K20 with a 6.2L Diesel. Which brand do you recomend?

Thanks,
Keith

I bought one from NAPA. It's a Brute brand. I've heard good stuff about them. Guess I'll find out if it's true.

Thanks,
Keith

Auto Zone clutches have a life time warrantee on them. I traded in one 10 times over a 5 year period. It was a honda with not enough grunt...nuf said.

May have a warranty, but lok how many times you had to replace it, i hate having to replace parts often, especially something hader to do like clutches.
Most all A/Z parts are cheap junk. Get what you pay for.

good luck

While this IS true, I was very hard on that car. I went through 4 trannys in that car too. I had it in the low 13's and was useing a stock clutch/tranny/1/2 shafts. They were the weakest links. When I placed a clutch in someone elses's '86 Cicic Si, it lasted him 80K before needing replaced. He drove hard too, but NOWHERE near as hard as I did.
