My 4/watts link

A while back I drew up some plans for a 4 link for my truck. I was able to cut the parts at work with the laser. Everything is just tacked in but here is how is sits at the moment. What do you guys think?

That looks very nice, and really heavy duty! Nice job!

Nice design work. I'm not big on the bulkiness of Watts links, but that looks good.

how abouit a pic of the cover!! I love to see some of us still building things

couple questions though??

if the cover was flipped could you do away with the big drop of the frame brackets??..its not to big a deal for you with the coil overs but us bagged guys would grind that off pretty quick??

Thanks for compliments guys.

The cover can't be flipped after the center stud has been welded to it because the differential cover is not centered in the frame due to the ford 8.8 offset pinion and different length axle tubes.
It wouldn't be that difficult to have the bar locations moved up, theres way more verticle travel in the bars then I need. I think its something like 13 inches (6.5" up and 6.5" down from ride height.)
As it is right now, I can sit the frame rails on the axle tubes without anything scraping.
