clear side marker lights
 

i am wondering if anyone knows where toget the clear side marker lenses for a 75 chevy, or should i shave them in. i shaved the mirrors, gas tank hole,tail gate, tail lights and have a godfather customs flame tail light rollpan. i do have the clear turn signal lenses on the front with blue bulbd and like how it looks so if anyone knows about those side lights, let me know.

where in the LMC catolog did u find the clear sidemarkers? do they have clear taillights too???

I FOUND THEM IN THE NEWEST ISSUE. THEY ARE IN THE COLOR PAGES, PAGE 89 TO BE EXACT. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE NEWEST ISSUE THIS IS PROBABLY WHY YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THEM. THEY HAVE EURO TAIL LENSES BUT THEY ARE WAY OUTA PRICE TO ME $239 :eek: . GOOD LUCK FINDING THEM MAN.

Does Anyone know where to get the clear taillights, because i have looked everyware for them and cant find them, i dont like the euro's as much as those.

yes, i also have been looking for these CLEAR taillights and have not found them. I hope someone on the board can help us find them they are sweeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!

These don't look real bad. Good luck finding any total clear taillights. I doubt anyone makes them anymore, since they are illegal. These are as close to clear as I could find.

Those clear lights would look good with a great set of LED's in there. The LED's should be for sale soon for our model years. A guy from the 62-72 forum is making them and selling them for those years and is currently testing 73-87's. They are going to be real sweet, more LED's per light then any other light on the market.

Because they are not red. Tail light lens must be red. Red bulbs do not qualify as a red lens.

red bulbs and clear lenses dont give off the same amount of light as a clear bulb and red lense...

I have tried to find those damn clear lenses for about a year to no avail. GRRRR!!!!

Even though they are illegal you can still find them for the 67-72.... frustrating....

Anyone remember who posted some of those Euro lights with a black background? I really like those over any other euro light availble for our trucks. I bought some for my brother's truck with black instead of clear and they look really cool. If I ever find them again, I think I'll buy them.

Just to let you know the clear side marker lights in the LMC Truck catalog are for 81-87 trucks.

Summit sells 1157 red or amber LED bulbs for $10 a pc.

Hey G, do you mean these?? If so, I'm sorry. I have no clue where to get them. I only remember saving the pic cause I thought they looked pretty cool and wanted to have it in case I ever decided to get them. So much for that idea huh?? :rolleyes:
