My gmc pickup 1971
Hello
I have just bought a car and asphalt automatic and I want to change my asphalt to Manual Is this possible? http://i1018.photobucket.com/albums/...GMC%2071/1.jpg The question here .. Is the conversion process complicated? Are there problems in the future? Is it affected the sales process? Do you advise me to stay the case as it is? I am from Kuwait He had earlier offered a total of my cars here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=416546 The first time that he bought a car of this type automatic transmission Please reply from an experienced |
Re: My gmc pickup 1971
It looks great.
I wouldn't change a thing. |
Re: My gmc pickup 1971
Wow! You have some nice vehicles over there! It's fairly easy to change over to a manual transmission. Things you would need to change or install are:
clutch/brake tree install clutch linkage steering column floor hump transmission (of course) change the driveline length But I agree with KEL. I would not change it if i were you. |
Re: My gmc pickup 1971
Very nice, I would not change it.

Re: My gmc pickup 1971
Man, you got some nice old trucks over there. Are there very many others driving around your country? If so, how about some pics. Very nice truck also, I wouldn't change it if it were mine. Good luck.

Beautiful truck.

Re: My gmc pickup 1971
Nice truck. If it's original, I would not change it - it's going to be worth more if kept original. If not original engine, paint, etc. - then have fun with it. But, in my opinion - I would not change it. It's a nice truck... I'd leave it. Like others said... you've got manuals in your collection (nice collection by the way).
Congrats on the new addition. |

But unfortunately there are problems in parts and there is no trading interest in these pieces, but by purchase from the site EBAY There is a private club I founded between the Gulf and the Middle East interested in trucks and cars have the members of this type and there are meetings each year and there are prizes .. See an example http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/a...h/IMG_8714.jpg |

Re: My gmc pickup 1971
If it were mine I would leave it as is, That is a BEAUTIFUL truck!

Re: My gmc pickup 1971
It's your truck. If you prefer a manual to an automatic, you should have it the way you want it. The conversion is not difficult if you have a source for the parts. As long as you save the removed parts, you can always change it back to automatic at a later date.

Re: My gmc pickup 1971
Another beautiful truck! Welcome to the board and good luck deciding which way to go. I would leave it as is since you already have a couple of manual trucks. But thats just me and its YOUR truck!
