Cab lights keep cracking
 

I dont know what im doing wrong, there not too tight i bought a set recently that were not new but in good shape now 4 of them are cracked and one of them exploded, it is pretty hot where i live 100 Degrees a lot of the time.

any tips?

Maybe use LED replacement bulbs. sounds like the bulbs are making too much heat.

The plastic gets brittle on those old cab lites...I bought a new set from gm this year ...should be good for another 30 years
